ABOUT
Himo means create.
The figure behind the name is the Maker — a patron of craftsmanship and intentional work. It is not decoration. It is the standard we hold the work to: made on purpose, by someone who can say why.

What we believe
Nothing important should happen invisibly.
If a decision matters, it should be findable a year later, with who made it and why. An agency's memory should not live in one person's inbox.
Measurement is not a report.
A number without an interpretation is a number. The useful part is what we now believe is true, and what we are changing because of it.
Craft still matters.
Volume is easy to buy. Work that is considered — written properly, designed properly, checked before it goes out — is not, and it is the difference people actually notice.
Honesty is cheaper than recovery.
Telling a client something is not working costs one uncomfortable conversation. Not telling them costs the relationship.
How we are set up
HIMO runs on its own system. Strategy, production, review, approval, assets and the record of what was decided all live in one place, and clients are given a login to the part that concerns them rather than a monthly export of it.
